1st. Visit to Sakura

Project: Helping Hands
This is an example of what students were asked to do. They prepared a video using "Photo peach". They had to select pictures from their visit to Sakura as well as a song suitable for it.

Story with issue

What are stories with issues?

Have you ever had an argument with a friend? Done something that you knew was wrong? Had to make a difficult decision? Stories with issues are stories about people and how they solve their problems. The stories are usually set in a familiar setting. They don`t always have a happy ending, but by the end of the story, the main character understands the problem better and learns a lesson or grows up.

Helping Sakura inpired us to write some beautiful stories like the one we read in class called "Trouble"

We learned how to post the story with issue written in class and we also added a picture related to the topic.

Giving Sakura a Helping Hand!

Project: Helping Hands

Today we posted the glogsters we designed with the pictures from Sakura.

Glogsters for the campaigns

We created some Glogsters to promote our campaigns!

Pay it Forward

We watched a film which talks about how we can make a better world if we help each other.

Campaign to collect milk

It´s essential for kids to eat well in order to have a healthy development in life. That´s why we decided to start a new campaign to collect milk.

Help us, help them!

Campaign to collect clothes

We launched the campaign to collect clothes for this coming winter!

Help us, help them!

Merendero Sakura

This place is called "Sakura"
It is part of the church called "Nuestra Señora de Itatí"
People from the church help children from the "Barrio Sakura" giving them some tea and cookies in the afternoon. They also help children do their homework. Everyday 50 children go to "Sakura" to spend some nice time with generous people.
